Gane and Marshall is a long-established wildlife and adventure travel company providing tailor-made holidays to Africa, South-East Asia, Europe, Latin America, Oceania, the Indian Ocean islands, and selected wildlife destinations around the world. Our adventure holidays are also sold as tailor-made and small group travel itineraries. We are ATOL licensed and financially bonded by the Civil Aviation and Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust (ABTOT)

Gane and Marshall was established in 1991 as a specialist in East African safari and trekking holidays. Since then we have expanded to cover a range of destinations around the world, from the remote Arctic to Indochina. As a company we pride ourselves on our personalised service and pledge to provide each of our clients with an unrivalled tailor-made travel experience.

Our Experience

Gane and Marshall has been established for over 30 years. The experience we have gleaned in that time helps to ensure that we offer a exceptional service to all of our clients. We understand that each traveller is individual with individual requirements. That is why we decided some years ago to offer tailor-made holidays at no extra cost to our clients. In the intervening years we have built up a loyal client base, who travel with us again and again.

Our small team of expert consultants cover a wide range of destinations and experiences, from specialist wildlife holidays to off-the-beaten track walking holidays, and would be delighted to discuss your holiday plans with you.

Gane and Marshall have been trading since 1991 and we ensure that our clients are properly represented, and their health, safety and money are protected. We are ATOL licensed and financially bonded by the Civil Aviation and Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust (ABTOT), which ensures that your holiday money is fully protected whether you choose to book through us a flight-inclusive package or a holiday without flights. Our Travel Consultants

Jeremy, founding director of Gane and Marshall, is extremely knowledgeable about walking and climbing in Africa, the Andes and the Himalayas. He has climbed Mt Kilimanjaro over 25 times, and organised the 2009 Comic Relief expedition to the summit, amongst other high profile events. Jeremy also organises safaris to East Africa and Polar expeditions, including our North Pole itineraries. If you are interested in an activity-based holiday, whether it's desert trekking in Oman or climbing in the remote Rwenzori Mountains, then Jeremy shall be glad to help.

Clare has been arranging tailor-made holidays for 30 years, with a special focus on Africa and the Indian Ocean islands. Her expertise is in safari and beach holidays, including to Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Malawi and Zimbabwe. She adores Botswana, for its incredible beauty and tranquillity; and the Seychelles, for their fabulous beaches and islands. More recently, Clare's travels have taken her to Indochina, where she's spent many months exploring the vibrant cultures and stunning coastlines of Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar and Thailand. Sarah has been travelling for most of her life and to Africa for over 35 years. Our Southern Africa specialist, in 2007 she completed a Game Ranger course in Kruger National Park. Sarah also manages our world wildlife programmes, encompassing our holidays to Brazil, the Galapagos, Canada, Finland and India, amongst other destinations. If you are interested in a particular wildlife-based holiday, whether it's tracking snow leopard in India or big game viewing in the Kruger, then Sarah is the person to speak to.

Michael's earliest memories of travel abroad are of Cuba, first visited as a 7-year old, it's warm climate and the equally warm temperament of the people he met there creating a lasting impression. Further childhood travel experiences - of walking with the Maasai in East Africa, and of trekking in the Himalayas - would instil a love for travel and for discovering new cultures and environments. Today, Mike's special interest is in East Asia, where he has travelled extensively in China, Japan, India and much of Indochina. Mike is also knowledgeable about trekking and climbing in East Africa, including the Rwenzori Mountains, Kilimanjaro, and the Simiens.
