The Bears of Tweedsmuir

Tweedsmuir is an attractive, family-style wilderness lodge nestled within Tweedsmuir Provincial Park, Bella Coola, BC. Constructed in the 1920s as a hunting lodge, it has since been renovated to accommodate those seeking out a more eco-friendly adventure, and now stands as one of the best grizzly bear-viewing locations in Canada.

Polar Bears in Arctic Canada

This tour visits the Churchill region of northern Canada where the world’s greatest concentration of polar bears can be found. You will travel in a comfortable and mobile ‘Polar Rover’ vehicle, which allows you to safely get up close to the bears. The group size is limited to around 15 travellers as nature is best experienced in small groups. The highest concentration of polar bears occurs in the Churchill area in October and November.

Visa Requirements

As a British passport holder, you can enter Canada for a stay of up to 6 months without a visa. This is also true of US and most Western European nationals. If unsure, check with the Canadian embassy in your country of origin for the latest guidelines.

If travelling to Canada by air, you will need to apply for an electronic travel authorisation (eTA). The application process must be completed online and costs CAD$7.
