As of 2015, Anabezi Camp is the newest camp to open in the Lower Zambezi, and it can also lay claim to being the most luxurious (without being overwhelmingly so!)
Anabezi enjoys an isolated location at the furthest end of the park, in what is an especially good game-viewing area. The rooms are built slightly back from the river on raised platforms, providing wonderful views of the Zambezi and its floodplains which offer year-round grazing for an abundance of game. The guiding at Anabezi is excellent.
The rooms at Anabezi are huge. Each comes with a private plunge pool – a delightful refuge in the heat of the day! The camp is divided into two wings, one with 7 rooms (Anabezi Main) and one with 4 (Little Anabezi). Little Anabezi Camp can be booked for exclusive use by families or groups
Anabezi is named after the Ana, or Apple-ring acacia trees, which surround the camp, and which are much loved by elephants!
Anabezi is open from the beginning of April to mid-November.
Anabezi’s sister camp Amanzi will be opening soon and will be a more rustic version of its big sister, located in the same fantastic game viewing area. Ask us for more details.
