A new and fabulous addition to the Norman Carr range of safari camps, Chinzombo has been transformed from a rustic bush camp into a stylish, super luxurious all-villa safari property. The location is magical: 60 acres of private land right on the banks of the Luangwa River, where elephant and hippo are regular visitors!
Chinzombo’s communal areas are cleverly designed to be open and airy making great use of light colours and linen textiles, modern lighting and African artefacts. Chinzombo has private access to and from the game-rich South Luangwa National Park via a short boat ride.

Six villas designed by award-winning architects to provide absolute luxury in the bush. Each spacious villa has a fabulous bathroom with shower and huge bath, separate loo, his and hers washbasins, and a view of the bush! The bedrooms have ultra-quiet air conditioning, a writing table, Wi-Fi, comfy armchair and huge verandah with lots of seating and a private plunge pool – all overlooking the Luangwa River. There is one two bedroomed family villa for families which can sleep up to 5.
