The location of Entim Camp is superb for viewing the great migration between July and October, when the area comes alive with the movement and sounds of wildebeest and their entourage of zebra, gazelle, eland and accompanying predators. This is a very good choice of camp for those who want to enjoy excellent game-viewing in a prime area at what are very reasonable rates for a camp of this category in the central Masai Mara.
Accommodation
Entim Camp offers twelve open-fronted tented rooms which are traditional in style. Each is furnished with soft earthy colours, large double bed, bedside tables, storage chest and hanging rack. The bathrooms are en-suite and located at the back of the tents. Bathrooms have flush loo, shower and washbasin.
Entim’s lounge tent forms its central hub. Furnished with leather sofas, roughly cut wooden armchairs and chunky coffee tables, it has a warm and cosy vibe. Decorative handmade cushions using local fabrics add a touch of local colour. There is a small library in the lounge tent, while outside is a fire pit where guests can enjoy a pre-dinner drink.
Entim Mara has recently been upgraded with the addition of a private wing, situated alongside the main camp but with its own private lounge area and facilities. It is intended for small groups or couples looking for a more intimate experience.
