Opened in 2008, Gately Inn is a small, friendly guesthouse situated in central Entebbe, within 15 minutes' driving distance of the airport (a free shuttle service is provided). Ideal for overnight stop-overs in the city, it offers comfortable accommodation in 11 uniquely-styled rooms set within tropical gardens close to the centre of town (expect a bit of traffic noise).
Gately Inn offers great service and has a relaxed down-to-earth vibe. It doubles as a restaurant and cafe open to the public, serving a cheerful assortment of Thai curries, pitta wraps and pizzas. Free WiFi access is provided across the hotel.
Accommodation
Just 11 en-suite rooms, split between six garden cottages and the main house. The rooms all differ in size and decor, but most are colourfully furnished with bright African fabrics. Some of the budget rooms in the main house are somewhat cramped and look a bit too "student dorm" for our liking, but the six garden cottage rooms (pictured) are lovely and spacious.
Dining
Gately Inn is booked on a bed & breakfast basis. The restaurant offers a varied lunch and dinner menu, however, if you're arriving late into Entebbe and don't want to find a restaurant. It is open to the public as well as hotel guests - the food is good and the turnaround quick.

Child Policy
