The vibrant Golden Silk Boutique Hotel is situated on one of Hanoi’s most famous shopping streets, Hang Gai, right in the heart of the city’s Old Quarter. This is a fabulous location, putting you within even reach of the city's best restaurants and bars and just a short walk from Hoan Kiem Lake. The guest rooms are located on the higher floors of the hotel, affording lovely views of the city skyline.

The Golden Silk offers 55 brightly-furnished rooms, with smart dark wood furnishings and vibrant décor. All rooms, including the lowest category (Deluxe) rooms, have impressive marble bathrooms with separate bath and shower. Amenities include air conditioning, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, in-room safe and tea and coffee making facilities.
The décor at the Golden Silk is very loud, with lots of marble, silk, vibrant fabrics and Oriental wall paintings, and perhaps won’t be to everyone’s taste. But it’s a nice change from the generic “international” décor that so many city hotels adopt. We loved the bathrooms, with their Japanese-style deep soaking bathtubs and marble features.
Dining
The Oriental Restaurant serves a selection of international and Vietnamese dishes, either indoors or al fresco. There’s also a stylish piano bar.
Hanoi’s Old Quarter is full of fabulous restaurants, many of which are just a short stroll away.
