Accommodation
Grano de Oro offers 40 rooms divided into four categories - standard, superior, deluxe and suite. All are beautifully furnished though the style varies greatly between rooms, even within the same category. The Vista de Oro is the flagship suite, and features rich mahogany wood panelling and antique furnishings. The superior and standard rooms are decorated in a more neutral style, but with lots of lovely touches, such as wrought iron beds and luxury linens, while the ground-level deluxe rooms have a private patio. All rooms come equipped with the expected mod-cons, including air conditioning, ceiling fans, TV, minibar, safe, telephone and complimentary Wi-Fi. Bathrooms come with toiletries, bathrobes and hairdryer.
Dining
Meals are served in the main dining room or outdoors in the lovely courtyard. Overseen by a French head chef, the menu is a mix of European and Costa Rican specialities.
