Hog Hollow Country House is a lovely rural retreat, situated in a private nature reserve about 12 miles from Plettenberg Bay and accessible via the popular 'Garden Route'. It's a great location for exploring this unique region, which many consider to be one of the most beautiful parts of southern Africa. From its high location, Hog Hollow offers striking views of the Tsitsikamma Mountains and the surrounding valleys.
There are sixteen suites at Hog Hollow, woven around the main country house which serves as the lounge and dining area. The lodge also has a lovely swimming pool overlooking the valley below, and a cosy boma where fires are lit each evening.

Accommodation
There are 15 suites and a two-storey family villa at Hog Hollow, scattered around the gardens and connected to the main house by wooden walkways. Each has a private deck with a view of Tsitsikamma Forest. Inside the suites are very spacious, each with a lounge area (some with fireplace), bathroom en-suite, and bedroom with large double bed. All rooms have ceiling fans and electric heaters.
The rooms are fitted with mini bars and mini Hi-Fis but no TVs or telephones.
Dining
Delicious farmhouse breakfasts are served on the verandah in the summer, or indoors around the fireplace when the weather cools. Dinners are served communally in the candlelit dining room.
Special menus and earlier meal times can be arranged for children.

Child Policy
Hog Hollow welcomes families with children. The suites are large and can accommodate two adults and a single child. The double-storey villas are ideal for larger families. The staff provide a babysitting service and special dinner menus for children on request.
