House of Waine is a luxury, boutique hotel situated in Karen, a leafy suburb of Nairobi. It's part of a two-acre estate and offers upmarket accommodation in tranquil surroundings. It has a lovely pool, attractive gardens to explore, and a relaxed atmosphere.
With the possible exception of Giraffe Manor, also located in Karen, House of Waine is the best guesthouse in Nairobi. The location is convenient, outside of the busy city centre but close enough to the airport for convenience.
Accommodation
House of Waine has just eleven rooms, each of which has been individually decorated. They share a number of features, including lavish marble bathrooms complete with standalone bathtub and separate shower (two rooms are an exception, and feature only bath).
All rooms are equipped with satellite TV, minibar, room safe, tea/coffee facilities (milk and fresh ground coffee are delivered every morning).
Dining
Meals are served at the time and place of your choosing at House of Waine. You can dine in the elegant dining room, on the lawn or at the pool terrace. Dinner is a set menu that changes daily. The food is international, but the staff will happily prepare local Kenyan specialities on request.
