Situated just off Tunxi Old St in the old part of Huangshan city, Hui Boutique Hotel is an upmarket guesthouse converted from two beautifully-preserved Qing-era residences. It offers just 8 rooms and suites, all of them furnished in a traditional style with hardwood Chinese beds and divans. Public areas include a cosy lounge area and a courtyard garden.
While the facilities are fairly basic, Hui Boutique Hotel’s traditional aesthetic and great location – the shops and restaurants of Tunxi old town are right on your doorstep – make this is our favourite place to stay in Huangshan. We regularly use it in our itineraries to Anhui province.
Hui Boutique Hotel is a 10 minute drive from Huangshan Station. A shuttle service to and from Huangshan Airport (6 miles) is included.

Hui Boutique Hotel’s 8 rooms differ in size and layout, but all share the same rustic style. Dark wooden furnishings, characterful decor and soft lighting add to the overall ambience, creating the impression that you’re in a Hui family home of old.
All of the rooms are en-suite with shower (no bathtub) and air-conditioned. Most feature flat screen TVs.

The restaurant offers a choice of a simple Western (toast, cereal & coffee) or Chinese breakfast. Tunxi Old St. offers many options for dining out.

Activities
Tunxi Old St is at your doorstep, while Anhui’s famously beautiful villages, such as Chengkan, Hongcun and Xidi, are mostly within an hour’s drive. The Yellow Mountain (Huangshan), too, is within easy driving distance.
