Ikoma Safari Camp is a comfortable, modestly priced permanent tented camp in the Serengeti Ikoma region. It is located on one of the main migration corridors, ensuring excellent game-viewing opportunities during the busy migration season. For those travelling on a modest budget, but who want to access the heart of the Serengeti, Ikoma provides a great option.
Game-viewing at Ikoma is generally excellent. The guides here are knowledgeable and the camp has been given permission to conduct night game drives alongside the usual day drives and walking safaris. Even outside of the migration season, Ikoma Camp is one of the better options in the Serengeti for a pure game-viewing experience.
