Isandlwana Lodge occupies a fantastic location on the edge of the historic Isandlwana Plains, directly overlooking Mt. Isandlwana, site of the Anglo-Zulu battle of 1879. As you might expect, the views are terrific, extending over the battlefields to the mountains on the horizon. Each of Isandlwana Lodge's 12 rooms has been positioned to take advantage of these views.
Isandlwana is perfectly located for those wanting to explore the many sights of Kwazulu Natal, notably the battlefield sites, but also the adjoining Umfolozi and Hluhluwe game reserves as well as a number of other attractions. Isandlwana is also a great spot to simply relax, with a striking swimming pool carved into the iNyoni rock and a cosy lounge and library.
