The new and lovely Kadizora Camp has a very picturesque location between the Vumbura River and Selinda Spillway in a northern concession of the Okavango Delta. This game-rich area consists of savannah floodplains, lagoons, waterways and tiny islands of magnificent jackalberry, marula and sycamore fig trees, which provide shade and food for the wildlife – and for the camp!
Kadizora is the only camp in the Delta which offers hot air balloon safaris, which are a fabulous way to observe the Delta and its wildlife. Other activities include walking safaris, mokoro-ing and 4x4 game drives. Fishing is available at certain times of year.
Kadizora offers very reasonable rates, making it a good choice of camp for those on a modest budget but wanting a classic tented safari experience.
Accommodation
Ten luxurious tented rooms with hardwood floors, classic in style with ensuite facilities including a shower and bath. Each tent is slightly raised off the ground and spaced well apart for privacy.
