Kapamba Bushcamp

One of the more luxurious bush camps in South Luangwa, Kapamba camp boasts a fine location on the banks of the Kapamba sand river, in a remote corner of the National Park.

The Bushcamp Company runs six specialist safari camps in one of Africa's most beautiful wilderness areas, the South Luangwa National Park, Zambia. It was here that the walking safari was first pioneered, and the emphasis at each of the bush camps is very much on experiencing the African wilderness up close and on foot.

Kapamba Camp boasts a prime location on the banks of the seasonal Kapamba sand river, in a remote corner of the South Luangwa National Park. There's a network of walking trails from the camp that follow the course of the river, though you needn't leave Kapamba to experience excellent game-viewing; the waters in front of the camp attract wildlife at most times of year, and there are raised wooden decks to facilitate game-spotting.

Kapamba Camp is open April through to January. The Bushcamp Company's other camps in the South Luangwa include: Bilimungwe, Chindeni, Chamilandu, Zungulila, and Kuyenda.
