Kati Kati Camp is a comfortable tented safari camp situated in the game-rich Seronera region, right in the heart of the Serengeti. This is one of the best regions of the Serengeti for game-viewing, but it's also one of the busiest (though Kati Kati is located at some distance from the bulk of the lodges in the area, and hence enjoys a degree of privacy).
Kati Kati is a classic East African tented bush camp, offering 15 Meru-style safari tents and a dining mess tent. It offers very competitive rates relative to its location, and is hence a popular option in the central Serengeti for both groups and private safari-goers. Facilities at the camp are limited, and guests at Kati Kati will typically head out on full-day game drives, and so spend little time at the camp.
Kati Kati Camp is located in close proximity to a number of airstrips within the Serengeti, allowing easy air access to Arusha and elsewhere in Tanzania.
Note: Kati Kati Camp does not employ its own guides, and is intended for those travelling with a private guide.
Mara Kati Kati: Mara Kati Kati is the sister camp to Kati Kati, with a comparable layout and set-up. It operates in the northern Serengeti between June and November, with a focus on tracking the migration.
