Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam, The Kilimanjaro, enjoys a convenient location in central Dar Es Salaam, the capital and commercial centre of Tanzania.
Known colloquially as ‘The Kili’, and formerly known as the Kilimanjaro Kempinski, this old hotel has over the years become a city landmark, both a reminder of the region’s colonial heritage and a favoured meeting place among locals and travellers alike. The hotel was totally rebuilt in August 2005 and re-opened as the Kempinski, before being taken over by Hyatt in 2011.
