The most upmarket beach hotel in Kep, Knai Bang Chatt is a small boutique hotel with 18 rooms and access to its own private beach. Small and rocky, the beach at Knai isn’t picture-perfect, but it’s pristine and totally private.
There's nothing superfluous about Knai Bang Chatt. The hotel has a simple, even austere, style. Stone and concrete villas, painted in muted colours, are decorated with carefully-chosen furnishings. We love the stylish, minimalist aesthetic, free of the pomp and glitz that many hotels rely on to impress. The rooms at Knai Bang Chatt are comfortable and stylish. Most have a terrace or balcony overlooking the sea.
Knai Bang Chatt is set in pretty gardens. There’s a wide lawn leading up to the beach, dotted with large shady trees, hammocks and sunbeds the offer shelter from the sun. The communal areas are generous in size and there’s plenty of spaces to put your feet up and relax. The restaurant and bar area overlook the ocean, as does the swimming pool.
Accommodation
Knai Bang Chatt has just 18 rooms, most with a view of the sea but some overlooking the front garden. All are minimalist in design and décor, and enjoy access to a terrace/balcony. Amenities include air-conditioning, Wi-Fi and in-room safe. There are no TVs.
Dining
The Strand, one of Kep’s best restaurants, serves fresh, local products, including abundant seafood. Meals can be taken in the open-air pavilion or in the air-conditioned restaurant. The Sailing Club restaurant and bar is delightfully located in a fisherman’s cottage right by the sea.
Kep’s main strip of restaurants, serving mostly seafood, is a short walk or tuk tuk ride away.

Knai Bang Chatt is only suitable for older children (12+). Full adult rates apply and children cannot share a room with their parents (the rooms cannot accommodate extra beds).
