Kubu Kubu shares its location with sister camp Kati Kati. It is the larger of the two camps, with 25 tents compared to Kati Kati's 11, and offers additional facilities in the form of a more generous bar and lounge area, as well as a fabulous terraced swimming pool positioned on the hillside so as to make the most of the views of the surrounding plains.
Game drives from Kubu Kubu focus on the Seronera Valley, a central and popular region of the Serengeti that attracts plentiful game, though also lots of vehicle traffic from other safari-goers. The camp is well-positioned on a prominent migratory route, with the zebra and wildebeest herds typically present in the region in May/Jun and Nov/Dec.
Kubu Kubu is a short drive from the Seronera airstrip, allowing for easy access to/from Arusha. Like Kati Kati Camp, guests at Kubu Kubu will typically travel with their own private driver/guide and vehicle, though activities such as game drives can be organised through the camp.
