Latitude 13 is a stylish, ultra-modern boutique property conveniently located 30 minutes’ drive from Lilongwe Airport. There are just nine suites, each with its own unique design.
The colour scheme throughout is black, white and grey – creating a chic, modern style. There is a large swimming pool in the garden, upscale brasserie, and open-air bar area.
Accommodation
Latitude 13 offers nine air-conditioned suites, three of which are situated in the main house (with balconies overlooking the garden). The remaining six suites are standalone and situated in the garden.
Latitude’s suites all differ slightly in their design and décor, though sharing the same clean, sleek aesthetic. They are all huge in size at approx. 90 square metres, and feature generous lounge areas – with cosy sofa and 32” flat-screen TV.
The en-suite facilities deserve special mention. Most of the suites have a sunken bath in the bedroom, while others have standalone baths. All have separate drench showers and his and her sinks.
Dining
The restaurant and bar are situated on the ground floor of the main house, with meals served indoors or outdoors on the verandah according to your preference. The food is superb, with a good a la carte menu. Room service is also offered.
