Lemala Kuria has a fantastic position in the Wogakuria Hills – a picturesque landscape dotted with rocky outcrops and massive boulders (kopjes). The camp is only 30 minutes' drive from the Mara River, making it well placed for witnessing the famous river crossings during the great migration in July and October. The camp’s 15 suites are situated on either side of the main lodge, all of them spaced well apart for privacy and linked to the lounge and dining areas by sandy footpaths.
Lemala Kuria's lounge, dining room and infinity swimming pool have been designed so as to make the most of the fabulous views of the surrounding plains. The lounge and dining areas open onto a wide verandah and fire pit deck, which serve as the perfect setting for an early morning coffee or evening sundowner! Other facilities include a well-equipped spa.
Game-viewing from Lemala Kuria is exceptional throughout the year, though it really shines during the main migration months of July and October, when you have a good chance of catching the famous Mara River crossings. Kuria is one of the few properties in the Serengeti that offers walking safaris as well as 4x4 game drives.
