Machangulo Beach Lodge is an intimate beach retreat set amid the sand dunes of Maputo Bay, from where it overlooks Inhaca Island and the Indian Ocean. Easy to access, Machangulo is on the channel that separates the mainland from Inhaca Island, which is only a short boat journey away.
This is a region of stunning natural beauty, notable for its secluded beaches, but also for its vegetated dunes and forests, which are home to a host of unique flora and fauna.
Accommodation
Machangulo Beach Lodge accommodates only a small number of guests in its eight luxury chalets, all with private verandah and bathroom en-suite. Five of the chalets have a view of Inhaca Island and the sea, while the others are tucked away amid the dune forest. Wooden walkways connect the rooms to the beach and the main lodge area.

Child Policy
Children of all ages are welcome at Machangulo. Those under the age of 18 pay a reduced rate, and there are further reductions for those under the age of 12 if sharing with a parent. The lodge offers a nanny service and supervised children's activities (at additional cost).
