Nestled in Bantry Bay, this small, elegant guesthouse is one of the newest and finest places to stay in Cape Town. In contrast to the colonial-era trappings of many of Cape Town's upmarket hotels and guest houses, O on Kloof adopts a slick, modern aesthetic. It is owned by Olaf Dambrowski (hence, 'O' on Kloof, 'Kloof' being the street), an experienced hotelier with a long history in the industry. O on Kloof is Olaf's personal project, where he himself spends a great deal of time, and it's clearly something of a labour of love for him. A lot of thought has evidently gone into the design of the hotel. The style is decidedly modern, with lots of marble, glass and polished wood used in the design. However it's not too austere, and despite the modernistic flourishes, it still feels very much like a guesthouse, with a welcoming atmosphere that is helped by the kind staff.
O on Kloof offers good access to the attractions of Cape Town and the Western Cape. It is a few hundred metres from the beach, though it is further from the attractions of central Cape Town (one of the many hotels on the V&A Waterfront would be a better choice for those wanting easy access to Cape Town's shops and restaurants).

Eight stylish and innovative en-suite bedrooms come equipped with air conditioning, mini bar, flat-screen television, DVD and media system, toiletries, free Wi-Fi and many other comforts. O on Kloof's special honeymoon suite has a jacuzzi and private sun deck with spectacular ocean views.
Dining
Cooked breakfasts are served each morning, either in the modern dining room or on the sheltered terrace. The restaurants of Clifton and Camps Bay are within walking distance, or alternatively dinner may be booked in advance at the guesthouse. There is a well-stocked bar.

Child Policy
O on Kloof accommodates children over the age of twelve. There is a reduction on the adult rates for older children sharing with their parents (one child sharing per room).
