Osupuko Serengeti Camp is a comfortable, mid-range mobile camp situated in the Central Serengeti. Perched on the slopes of the Rongai Hills, the camp overlooks the game-rich Seronera Valley, one of the Serengeti's major migration corridors.
Osupuko's central location allows for access to almost all regions of the park, and hence good year-round game viewing. The camp is ideal for those wanting to track the wildebeest migration, but even outside of the migration season, the Seronera Valley is still one of the main attractions of the Serengeti. The wildlife in this region of the park is exceptional throughout the year, owing to the several perennial rivers that run into the valley, and which ensure that an abundance of game is able to thrive here in all seasons. The area is known particularly for its big cats, and is home to several of the largest prides of lion in the Serengeti, as well as good populations of cheetah and leopard, which are often spotted in the rocky granite kopjes and trees found close to the Seronera River. Many of these predators have made the Seronera Valley their permanent home, meaning that sightings are good throughout the year, regardless of where the great migratory herds are.
