Palacina is one of our favourite of Nairobi's small, boutique-style hotels. It's set in a suburban location, from where it offers fairly good access to the city centre as well as a very welcome air of peace and quiet. Family owned and managed, its fourteen suites are set in pretty gardens overlooking State House Valley.

Palacina provides fourteen luxury suites, including two penthouse suites. The rooms are all very spacious, with separate living rooms, en-suite bathrooms, and private balconies.

Breakfast is prepared in the open farmhouse kitchen and served either in the dining room or out on the terrace, according to your preference.
The Moonflower Restaurant serves guests at the hotel and the public, and is highly regarded. There's a live jazz band most evenings.
