Located on the banks of the Luangwa River, Robin’s House was until recently the private home of Robin and Joanna Pope of Robin Pope Safaris. It’s situated only a short distance from Nkwali Camp, and offers private accommodation for small groups and families of up to 5, or honeymooners looking for extra privacy, in its two lavish bedrooms and adjoining kitchen.
Though only a short distance from Nkwali Camp, Robin’s House is entirely self-contained, and comes with its own kitchen and cook, 4x4 vehicle and guide, and valet. Guests at Robin's House enjoy private rather than shared safari activities, and hence have total flexibility in how they structure their day. You may prefer to spend the whole day out in the bush game-viewing, or only mornings and afternoons. This flexibility makes Robin’s House particularly easy to recommend to families with young children.
Inside, Robin’s House is very attractively furnished. Wide windows allow in lots of light and ensure superb views of the Luangwa River from both bedrooms. There’s a lovely shared lounge and private en-suite bathrooms attached to each room.
Robin’s House is open year-round. Do note that it’s very popular, and is often fully booked for months ahead at a time, so it’s a good idea to enquire some time in advance of your planned stay.
