Rusinga is a small lodge, with just seven cottages, but it enjoys a large area of this sparsely populated island more or less exclusively. Accommodation
There are seven guest cottages at Rusinga Island Lodge, of which one is a family unit with interconnecting bedrooms (twin and double). Constructed of natural stone, wood and thatch, the cottages have a very rustic feel, and are spacious and beautifully furnished inside. Private verandahs look out towards the lake. The bathrooms feature large walk-in showers, and are supplied with constant hot running water.
