Savanna Tented Camp & Lodge is a luxury five-star safari lodge with a great location in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, a private conservancy within the greater Kruger National Park.
Savanna Tented Camp is a very comfortable lodge. It has the appearance of a classic safari bush camp, with beautiful tented suites, but the facilities that you would expect from a top-end safari lodge, including private pools, full en-suite bathrooms with freestanding baths and outdoor shower atriums, and beautifully furnished living areas.
The main building houses a comfortable lounge and thatched dining area, perfectly positioned with a view of the swimming pool and, a few metres further, a floodlit waterhole. Separate to the main lounge and dining area is an intimate boma and thatched bar.
Savanna Tented Camp is a great option for those travellers who want superb game-viewing in a comfortable setting. It combines lodge-style facilities with classic tented rooms. The game-viewing in Sabi Sand is generally brilliant, and the guides at Savanna Tented Camp will show you the best that the reserve has to offer.
Accommodation
Savanna Tented Camp offers just eight en-suite chalets, scattered around the camp grounds. Four luxury suites are beautifully decorated and feature en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, king size bed and private verandah. The executive suites are larger, with additional lounge area and a private plunge pool.
The Savanna suite, situated apart from the main lodge, is suited to small families or groups, with two en-suite bedrooms, separate lounge and dining room, plunge pool, and a private driver, vehicle and dining area.
Dining
The indoor dining area enjoys a view of the surrounding bush and waterhole. Dinners are often served outdoors around a fire in the boma.
There is a bar next to the boma, with wonderful views.

Child Policy
Children over the age of eight only at the main lodge. However, the Savanna Suite will accommodate families with younger children.
