Between December and April, Green Camp is pitched in the Serengeti’s southern Kusini region. From here it offers a window onto a remote part of the Serengeti, well-removed from the busy Seronera region, allowing for a more private game-viewing experience in a region of the park that attracts comparatively few visitors. This also offers an opportunity to witness the wildebeest herds during the calving season (typically January into early March). Between July and November, the camp moves to the Serengeti’s northern Kogatende region, from where it offers a window on the great migration at its height, as the wildebeest herds congregate in the northern Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai Mara.
Both game drives and bush walks are offered at Green Camp, with the latter a special focus of the camp and its operator, Wayo Africa.
