Victoria Chau Doc is regularly used as a stop-off point for those travelling to or from Cambodia (boats for Phnom Penh leave from the pier in Chau Doc town most mornings). For those not just passing through but rather looking to explore the Mekong Delta at length, however, Victoria Chau Doc combines well with a stay at sister resort Victoria Can Tho, in the southern Mekong Delta.
