Kenya Small Group Safaris

Small group safaris are an increasingly popular way to discover the safari parks of East Africa. They have the advantage of being more affordable than an equivalent private safari, while also offering the camaraderie that comes with travelling in a group.

Unlike large group or seat-in-bus tours, small group safaris will see you travel in a 4x4, which you share with up to 6 (or in some cases 7) other guests. The itineraries focus on Kenya’s major safari parks and game reserves – the Masai Mara, Amboseli, Laikipia and the Rift Valley Lakes – though some itineraries extend to include less-visited safari parks and the Kenyan coast. Accommodation is typically in mid-range lodges, rather than safari camps.

While small group safaris don’t offer the flexibility of a private, tailor-made safari, they provide an accessible way of exploring Kenya and the neighbouring countries of East Africa at less expense and in the company of others.
