Visa Requirements

British and most other nationals require a visa to enter Uganda. Visa should be applied for online: visas.immigration.go.ug. The online visa costs $50, and you will need 6 months validity on your passport.

What documents will you need for the online Visa application?

1. Copy of your Passport (Bio-data page)
2. Copy of a recent Passport size Photograph (copy)
3. Travel Itinerary (for East African Visa)
4. Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate copy

On completing the online application form, you may have to wait up to 3 weeks to be approved for a visa. Once approved, a Visa Approval Letter will be sent to you by email. You will be required to print this letter and present it together with your passport on arrival in Uganda.
