Northwest Vietnam and Sapa
Vietnam's Northwest province (Tay Bac) is a hilly region dominated by Mount Fansipan, the highest peak in Indochina. The region is popular with trekkers, but many also come by train from Hanoi to visit the former colonial hill station of Sapa and the region's myriad colourful tribes.
