Visa Requirements

Visas are not required by British citizens for stays of up to 90 days. On arrival into Namibia check at the immigration desk that you have been granted permission to stay in Namibia for the full duration of your intended visit, as occasionally tourists have found that they have not been granted the full stay. A passport with at least 6 months validity is essential and 1 spare blank page. If you are spending any time in South Africa you MUST have an additional 2 blank pages in your passport to enter the country.

If travelling with children - In addition to valid passports, parents travelling with children under the age of 18 should at all times carry the original or certified copy of the child’s unabridged birth certificate. Adults travelling with children where they are not the biological or legal guardians of those children, should be in possession of an affidavit statement from the child’s parents giving consent for their travel. If a child is travelling with only one parent, the other parent should give consent for travel in the form of an affidavit.
